This course is designed to provide hands-on knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, and control systems. It covers the fundamentals of PLC hardware, programming techniques, ladder logic, troubleshooting, and integration with industrial applications. By the end of the course, learners will be capable of designing, programming, and maintaining PLC-based automation systems used across industries such as manufacturing, automotive, power, oil & gas, and process plants.

Module 6: Human Machine Interface (HMI) Development Basics of HMI design Creating operator screens and dashboards Tag mapping between PLC & HMI Practical HMI applications.
Module 7: SCADA Systems & Industrial Communication Introduction to SCADA Communication protocols (Modbus, Probus, Profaned, Ethernet/IP) Data logging and trending Remote monitoring and control.
Module 8: Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Online monitoring of PLC programs Identifying and fixing hardware/software faults Diagnostic tools and error codes Maintenance practices for industrial PLCs.
Module 9: Industrial Applications of PLCs Motor control circuits (DOL, Star-Delta starters) Conveyor and packaging automation Traffic light & elevator control systems Process control case studies.
